Early intervention with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cognitive Impairments, Learning Disabilities, Apraxia, Fluency Disorders, Language Disorders and Developmental Delays

Cecilia received her masters of speech science in communicative disorders and sciences from San Francisco State University with specialization in Autism and Neurodiversity services. Cecilia is proficient in Spanish. During her graduate studies, she worked with children who had difficulties in receptive and expressive language, speech production, social skills, and cognition. As part of her internship, she has worked closely with Ms. Udie in providing therapy to children with complex communication needs, including children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Upon completion of her internship, Cecilia was hired on by ITS to complete her CF. She aims to provide individualized treatment and develop collaborative relationships with the children and their families. Cecilia believes that every child is unique, and she does not subscribe to one size fits all therapy.  Her goal is to empower children to acquire functional tools in learning to communicate and connect within their community.
