Sara received her bachelors of science degree from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana in 2012 with emphasis in Elementary Education (K-6) with Mild Intervention. She received her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from Emerson College, Boston. Sara has extensive background in special education both as a teacher and as an ABA provider. She has taught both in special education adult programs and conducted ABA services for in clinic services for elementary school students. Sara is dedicated to improving the ability of children to communicate, interact, and acquire a variety of skills by using evidence-based practice. Sara believes her experiences in special education, and speech pathology provide a strong foundation for building effective treatment programs for young children. She is committed to evidence-based practice, progress monitoring, and training partners in the child’s functional environment. Parents describe Sara as compassionate, flexible, and welcoming. Her favorite part of being a speech-language pathologist is building trusting relationships with children and their families. Sara has been a clinician at Innovative Therapy Services for the past 4 years.
