Veena recently joined the ITS as a clinical fellow Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her Bachelor of art degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Child & Adolescent Deaf Studies from San Jose State University and her Master of Science in Speech Pathology  with an emphasis in Bilingual Extension Program from New York University (NYU). Veena has served in private clinics, public school settings, and in an early intervention classroom. Veena specializes in Speech sound disorders, Language disorders, Early Intervention Autism spectrum disorders and social communication, Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), Traumatic brain injury, Childhood apraxia of speech, and Pediatric Feeding/Dysphagia. She has experience in both individual and group settings – including planning and implementing group therapy targeting language and social communication. Veena enjoys working with clients of any age and aims to help every client work towards their goals to improve their communication.
